Our Team
We are Rene and Julia Carlos, a husband and wife team of accountants with a combined experience of 45 years of expertise. Our experience includes working in regional CPA firms doing tax, audits, reviews, compilations, and other small businesses doing accounting and bookkeeping, getting the full spectrum of the accounting cycle. Our goal in starting our own firm was to deliver a quality tax return for an affordable price for small businesses. After years of seeing small businesses struggle with bookkeeping, either outsourced or in house, and understanding what all these financials mean, we saw a need that was not being met. It angered us when we saw small businesses hire a bookkeeper and we couldn’t do the tax return because the books were so materially wrong. We were tired of fixing other bookkeepers careless mistakes. When we talked to the small business owners, they really had no clue what the financial health of their company really was. We decided to take action and advocate for small businesses and provide bookkeeping, tax, and 1-on-1 business coaching and tax strategy, on a month to month basis. Every business owner deserves to know the true financial state of their business. As small business owners/owner operators ourselves, we understand the struggle that small business owner have. We support all small businesses whether you have an Etsy shop, you’re a figure skating coach, own a restaurant, doctors office, or manufacture widgets. Year over year, we have seen a huge improvement in our clients small businesses with higher profits and expansion. Our goal and our mission is to help small businesses grow, because when small businesses are doing well, America is strong.
Rene and Julia have been married for almost 15 years and have one daughter. They are all Orange County natives, but love going to the desert and traveling the southwest region of our beautiful country. We are faith-based Christian business owners and center our life’s around Christ. We are highly committed church participant. At the end of the day our sole purpose is to give glory and honor to God in all our life, our family, and our work. We love God, we love each other, we love our country, and we love small businesses.

Our Mission
We are small business advocates specializing in bookkeeping and taxes. If a small business is not incorporated, we evaluate if they would benefit from incorporation and help them achieve that. We offer a monthly bookkeeping service as well as tax preparation and aggressive tax strategies throughout the year to maximize your bottom line. We range from a wide array of small business from start ups, Etsy shop owners, Real Estate professionals and investors, manufacturing, restaurants, schools, NPO’s, etc. Our mission is to see small businesses across America to bear good fruit, grow, and thrive.
